I’ve probably bored everyone to death by now on IM but I leave on Wednesday! (Thursday technically but I am including the fact I am heading down to London a day early just to sit and stare at the airport in anticipation).
I am so excited that when I land in Canada I am going to hug every single Canadian I meet. When I get bored of hugging Canadians I will go hug some Americans.
I hope they like hugs!
Anyway, I have a ridiculous amount of SD cards in my bag and a camera so expect lots of photos. That is unless I can convince someone to hire me out there so I don’t have to come back. My skills include talking non-stop and getting excited a lot. My odds are pretty high no? lol
Not much has been happening around these parts lately. Apart from spending the last three days with no internets. Then this morning the internet arrived like omg hai i’ve not seen you in aaaages and whispered naughty things in my ear..I forgave it instantly and now we are getting reacquainted. I hope this isn’t going to be a regular weekend thing.
In other more tedious news I got a new phone finally. After months of holding my old phone aloft during storms, dropping it from great heights and scowling in it’s direction I finally realised that it would not die and allow me a guilt free trip to my nearest phone shop. Instead I took the guilt laden route and tied myself into an 18 month contract with lots of perks. Like omg the phone..it’s so pretty and touch screen..and it has faster internets that Waving Gophers home internet..something that will make me laugh until I die.
The guilt I had about spending money I don’t have was offset by bumping into some friends who just spent a large sum buying a PlayStation 3 and several games. We immediately piled back to their house to test out Call of Duty 4 and then the crowning moment. Singstar!!
Perhaps the most humilating moment in my adult life came from ‘I don’t feel like Dancing’ because the dude from Scissor Sisters is rather high pitched, and I am not quite so. Luckily I then owned My Chemical Romance’s Helena which I think makes me an emo..but ssh.
I then made the decision to retire from the stage at the top of my game. Or before anyone reported us to the police for causing a disturbance/deafening whole neighbourhoods.
So now my internet is fully functional I have decided to leave it home alone and go far far away with the two days off work have so kindly given me. Keep an eye on it for me and make sure it doesn’t have any wild parties.
