I have been a neglectful blogger of late and only part of that can be blamed on the fact I am borrowing wireless from a neighbour so coverage is a little patchy. I do promise to blog more next year though!!

So, 2007 is on it’s way out huh. I am still stuck in the mindset that it has only really just begun but then my calender really doesn’t work in the same way that it does for everyone else. The only reason I know it’s not summer is because of the Christmas lights, the cold weather and the Uni workload. My mind still thinks it is somewhere in July and it should be sat on a beach drinking cocktails.

2008 looks like it’s all going to be about change for me which could be interesting. I am a bit of
a creature of habit and some changes I really don’t like but I am going to do my best to be open to all the newness. After all, a lot may change but there will still be cookies and llamas so it will all be good really.
Change will also be good for the airing the 2007 staleness from this blog. I also have a few tasks I would like to achieve in 2008 which I will write down here because then if I am not doing them you can kick my ass and remind me of what I was hoping to do. I am reluctant to call them resolutions as we all know how successful people are at completing resolutions lol.

-Ben Nevis. Highest rock in the UK, it’s been my ambition to climb up there for a long long time and I plan on getting it done very shortly..well when it warms up a little.
-New Job/ PHD placement (whichever it may be): I will do my best to kick total ass at it.
-Current degree: Oh yeah, before the above I would like to graduate well lol. Seeing as both hinge on a good grade and all that jazz.
-Book my trip to the US/Canada as soon as the bank will let me.
-I did woefully little caving in 2007 so I would like to do more. It has gained a lot of bad press in the recent weeks because of the tragedy on Boxing day but it really is a lot of fun and safe if you plan it well and go with a good team.

For now though it is time to drink wine and eat food, both of which I do exceedingly well so that is one task which will completed easily.
